Reflections on Open Source Summit Europe 2025 in Amsterdam
Just returned from a transformative few days at Open Source Summit Europe 2025, held in Amsterdam from 25-27 August, 2025
I’m Arthur, a hardware–software researcher now pursuing a PhD at Technische Universität Dresden in Germany. My work blends reconfigurable computing, embedded AI, and advanced SoC design. I thrive where systems are smart, efficient, and tightly integrated: from logic gates to machine learning. Whether I’m prototyping intelligent microdevices or contributing to cutting-edge academic research, I aim to build systems that push boundaries and connect worlds.

I'm incredibly excited to share some personal news, I've officially started my PhD studies in Germany at Technische Universität Dresden (TU Dresden)!
Embarking on a transformative journey in December 2021, I navigated the challenges and triumphs of the MSc in Internet of Things: Embedded Computing Systems at the University of Rwanda’s ACEIoT. This is my story of growth, innovation, and resilience.
